Change the Date Reveal

Back in October 2019, Les and I sent out our beautiful Save the Date postcards to our friends and family; I absolutely love how they turned out. After postponing our wedding, we got in touch with a lot of our family members and anyone we could think of who would have been making extensive travel arrangements to tell them what we had decided. To make sure we reached everyone, though, and so that all of our guests had a nice visual reminder of our new date, we sent out Change the Date cards!

Minted, where we designed our original Save the Dates, was kind of enough to give us 50% off after learning we needed to postpone our wedding. They also customized the color on the left-hand side to match the blush color that was on our original postcards. I love how much these compliment our Save the Dates, with a bit more emphasis on the actual date itself since that's the important element here. We kept it short and sweet, and are hoping that they made for a nice little piece of mail for our guests during this time. I, for one, have learned that I love designing wedding invitation suites and save the dates, so to get to do one more was a nice silver lining. Here they are:

P.S. After using Minted for both our Save the Dates and these cards, and designing our future invitations through their site, I can safely say that I highly recommend them. They have so many stunning designs that you can customize more than you can on any other site I've explored. Their paper feels super nice and expensive, and they can send you samples of the design you're interested in. Be sure to check them out for your next event!

P.P.S. I should have known better after our Save the Dates, but some of these postcards arrived to our family and friends a little worse for wear after going through the mail. Even though postcards are less expensive (both in terms of postage and then usually for printing) when you spend money on engagement photos you want them to end up looking nice! So, after sending two of our own postcards, my advice would be SPRING FOR THE ENVELOPES!
