Friday Favorites

Here's something I can add to the "things I learned during quarantine" list: there is a reason hair stylists go to school for what they do. After 207 days of quarantine, and after not having cut my hair for months even before March, I broke down and asked Les to trim my hair yesterday. He tried. He really did. It's just not entirely even, and it's really not his fault. Luckily my bridesmaid's boyfriend's sister is a hair stylist and she's coming to my rescue this afternoon to even things out for me. Fortunately my hair was 3,000 feet long anyways, so no harm was truly done. But I can safely say that for as many hair cuts as I've given Les during quarantine, this will be the first and last he'll be giving me. Still love you babe. :)

Earlier this week I shared a ton of floral and functional pieces that I added to my work-from-home setup, as well as a fun fall outfit featuring a cozy new dress. Be sure to check out both posts, and my Friday Favorites below!

1. Camel Blazer

Blazer / White V-Neck / Jeans / Similar Booties

Another Friday Favorites, another darling blazer! (Check out the other one I'm referring to here). I love this camel colored blazer with black pants and loafers for work, or with skinny jeans and booties for a more casual look. It's just a really easy way to dress up a white t-shirt, and also to look put-together for a Zoom meeting!

2. Crop V-Neck Tee

White V-Neck / Belt / Jeans / Similar Booties

As silly as this sounds, I also wanted to share my white tee. I just bought it from Athleta and it's exactly what I needed in terms of a great layering piece. There's nothing worse than a white shirt that's too tight and clingy. This one sits just above my belt line and it's a looser cropped fit with the perfect v neck. I honestly might snag one more while they're on sale since white shirts never last long enough.

3. Old Navy Quarter-Zip

Sweater / Jeans / Booties

How cute is this sweater?! Another top that's the perfect length. And, it's incredibly soft. I have a similar style sweater in grey from Nordstrom that's a few years old, and I wear it all the time with jeans and even yoga pants. So when I saw this Navy one from Old Navy, I knew I'd love it! I'm in an XS and it runs TTS. If I didn't already have a similar one in grey, I'd be ordering one now. The burgundy is beautiful, too!

4. Striped Maxi Dress

Dress here and here / Similar Belt / Similar Bag

I noticed that my striped maxi dress is on sale at both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack so I thought I would share. The colors of the stripes are perfect for fall, and if you're in a warmer climate you can rock it this season with a denim jacket!

5. Fall Patio Decor

And now for those pumpkins that we picked earlier this week! Down on our patio I have our white and light orange pumpkins, a boxwood, our brightly colored mums, and our rosemary plant that has sort of taken off. And, my favorite "Hey there Pumpkin" doormat (out of stock, but similar here)! I love our sort of harvest scape.

And then on our patio railings and in the little gravel garden by our steps, I always indulge Les in more of a "spooky season" look. He lovessss his orange and purple lights. We picked the ghosts up last year from one of those pop-up Halloween stores, and then our pumpkin head skeleton (aka Paul) is from Lowe's! Paul still needs his face carved, but he's already looking quite cute. The only thing we're missing is a fall wreath for our doorI haven't found one that I love yet. Share any suggestions below, and let me know how you decorate: harvest decor or spooky season?!
