What I'm Wearing Weekly #11

Sunglasses: Warby Parker | Jean Jacket: forever old from Abercrombie & Fitch (similar here). | Top: H&M (can't find online, similar here and here). | Jeans: American Eagle | Flip Flops: Old Navy (not sold online). | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Mutt: All Dog Rescue

Happy June! Does anyone else feel like this month is going to completely fly by? Which is a shame because it feels like it took so long to get here. We have something scheduled every weekend in June, including both mine and Les's birthdays! At the same time, though, Les is in the middle of studying for a big professional exam that is also scheduled for this month, so he's pretty much been sequestered in his home office the past few weeks. But, after it's over, we're looking forward to DOUBLE BIRTHDAY MONTH and the rest of our summer.

The other good news that comes with June? White jeans season! These jeans (they're really jeggings) from American Eagle are one of the comfiest pairs I own. I live in them, especially during summer nights, and love that they can be paired with essentially any top I own. The flip flops I'm wearing from Old Navy (I can't seem to find them online...) are a repeat purchase summer-after-summer because I love how thin they are. I've always loved that look over a thicker, chunky flip flop.

So where was I headed? Last Saturday when Les was studying, I took the pup and drove up to Gloucester to meet up with my sister, Kelly, and her fiancé, Tom. They were passing through on their way home to New Hampshire from Boston and wanted a mini tour of the area because Tom had never been.

Mostly, though, I think they just wanted to see Nestlie... and the feeling was mutual. She LOVES her Auntie Kelly and Uncle Tom. We walked around the shops a little bit, looked at the Fisherman's Memorial from afar, and enjoyed the VERY authentic seaside-fishing-town smells.

After they headed on their way, I said hi to a friend who lives right in town, and then took the long, scenic way home with the windows down and my dachshund in the back! I can't wait until Les is able to enjoy Saturdays with us again. :)

P.S. Curious to learn more about Nestlie? Of course you are! Click here.
