It's been a while since I did one of these posts-- two months to be exact. Yikes! Things have just been pretty crazy around here with work and wedding planning. But you didn't think I would let the entire fall season pass without a picture in some sort of orchard or pumpkin patch, did you? ;)

Last weekend after all of the wedding dress craziness, Les and I were excited to just have a weekend at home together. We had brunch plans with friends on Sunday, but Saturday was fairly open and the weather was absolutely perfect. So, we made our way out to farm in the area that we had never visited before.
And, while we decided to forgo actually picking apples (it's pretty late in the season) or pumpkins (we already had ours), we enjoyed homemade apple cider donuts and coffee while walking all around the orchard.
We finished the day off with a stop at a nearby brewery for a drink and some late lunch, and then headed home for a scary movie. As far as Saturdays go, it was one of my favorite kind. :)
