All sun and smiles last Thursday! I shared this in my Friday favorites, but last Thursday was the warmest it has been since we've been in Maine. Since last week, the temperature has seemed to be consistently on the warmer side (up here we're talking low-mid 60s), so it seems like spring has finally sprung.
We've been spending a lot of time outside helping my mom with her garden and my parents with a few other outdoor projects. We also got to have another night around the fire pit on Saturday, complete with BBQ chicken flatbread pizzas that we made on the little grill my mom keeps down by the fire. And, of course, s'mores for dessert.
In any case, nothing says spring like Lilly Pulitzer. And while I definitely don't have a closet full of LP, I do have a few pieces that I absolutely love. A few of them are dresses from the Target x Lilly Pulitzer collection from a few years ago, and then this is the second romper I've purchased. I showed the first one last summer in this post (it's sold out but a similar style is still available online here).
They're just so easy to throw on and feel put together in, and in my opinion can be dressed up or down depending on where you're headed. I love this new wrap-style, too, that looks entirely like a dress from the front.
I paired it with the jean jacket I've been wearing non-stop, my go-to Tory Burch Miller sandals, and a pink gingham headband from J. Crew (sold out, similar here). And, again, even though I didn't leave my parent's house that day, it was really nice to spend a little time on myself, curling my hair and getting dressed up just to celebrate the beautiful weather.
