WOW it's been hot recently! Les and I went into Boston this past Saturday to run an errand, and afterwards we decided to stroll the less-crowded and more-shaded Commonwealth Avenue. It was SO nice to be back in the city in the area where we spent so much time when we first started dating. Some of my favorite dates with Les involved just walking around Newbury Street, the Common, and the Public Garden.
Being out and about in this heat calls for a ~tropical~ ensemble. My dress is from Shein from a few years ago and this color is out of stock, but this "double V" tank style comes in a ton of other fun prints (I've linked to a bunch at the bottom of this post). With a 98° day, this lightweight and sleeveless piece was a no-brainer.
Adding to the tropical vibe is my bamboo bag and rattan hoop earrings! I bought my bag from Nordstrom Rack last summer and it's no longer available, but this one from Shein is identical and only $23! I have found that it fits more than you'd think, including my full size wallet and other essentials!
I shared my Target earrings last Friday on Friday Favorites; they were a birthday gift from one of my bridesmaids and they go with just about everything! Love an easy accessory.
I so wish I could share my fringe block heel sandals (they're last year from Sole Society) but they're no longer available. However, I did link below to another pair of blush block heels I own, and love. I wore them to my sister's wedding, so you know they're comfortable! I love the tie detail around the ankle.
And lastly, though not pictured, was the mask I had on during the rest of this outing. It's from Etsy and I think this pattern is sold out, but this is the seller I bought it from. Remember, right now you're never fully dressed without a mask. :) Stay cool.
