I am huge fan of fall, and I'm an even bigger fan of fall fashion. So you can imagine my frustration when we're in almost the MIDDLE of November and it's 70° (in the Northeast, no less). Give me all the sweaters, leggings, boots, and tights and keep your tank tops and shorts! All of my spring and summer clothes are put away, so on Sunday when we were headed out to run errands I was faced with the very real question of what to even put on. Enter this adorable sports bra and leggings set I just got on sale (50% off!) from Bloomingdales.
I must have seen these in an ad on Facebook or something, but I couldn't resist the gingham pattern and I thought they'd be just the ticket to coax me out of hibernation come spring and get me back in to an active routine. But, as it turns out I was able to pull this set out a lot sooner than anticipated! I layered with a denim jacket, threw on my Tommy Hilfiger slip-ons, and set out to raid the frozen food aisle at Trader Joe's.
You might think I'm kidding, but when we got home Les and I had to do some serious tetras work to fit everything into our freezer. As busy as our past few weeks have been, I knew what we needed were some of Trader Joe's frozen offerings that we could pull out and heat up for dinner. There's something much more ~elevated~ about a TJ's frozen entree than just your run-of-the-mill microwave lasagna. Like their Steak and Stout Pot Pies, french onion soup, gorgonzola gnocchi, and tempura cauliflower. I digress.
As much as a 70° day really throws a wrench into my pumpkin spice latte parade, I'll admit it was nice to break-in this set. Shop it now on sale before it sells out! Also, because you're never fully dressed without a mask, here's my cute seersucker one from Etsy.
